Alternative dispute resolution update
With the significant downsizing of the Federal Mediation and Conciliatory Service (FMCS), Alternative Dispute Resolution appeals have been delayed. That does not affect our normal appeal process for Non-Bargaining personnel. You should appeal the same as you did prior to the Executive Order, and as soon as a process of hearing those Alternative Dispute Resolution mediations resumes, they will be scheduled on an as received order. No specifics of an alternative process have been released yet, but as details emerge, I will ensure that we get that word out. In the meantime, work with your Chapter Member Representatives in preparation of your appeal, and as scheduling begins you will be contacted to accommodate availability. If you have questions or concerns, please reach out to Jim Dunlap at Jdunlap@unitedpma.org, or the National Office at (703) 683-9027. Thank you,
